Located on the northern outskirts of San Teodoro, it has a beach that stretches in an arched shape for about 5 km . The beach is characterized, in addition to the view of Tavolara island , the fine white sand and crystal clear water . Being a very large and long beach offers space for everyone.
Behind the beach , separated by white sand dunes and thick Mediterranean vegetation there is the famous Lagoon of San Teodoro. It is characterized by the presence of many species of birds and the famous pink flamingos… And possible to visit through the riding excursion organized by the Maneggio La Cinta, or directly by boat (trip organized by Orizzonti di Gallura.)
The beach has two entrances, the main one is equipped with free parking and a fee , free showers and two spacious Bar where you can enjoy a drink , a quick lunch and ice cream . In one of these, the Blue Bistro, you can also dine by candlelight with a spectacular sea view directly on the beach .
In the beach you can hire umbrellas and sun beds in some of the establishments present .
Halfway beach , going to Puntaldia there is the kite zone.
This year will take place ( 22 to 25 September ) for the first time in San Teodoro the kite surfing competition Extreme fun games that will perform and fight the best surfers in the world in a setting nothing short of breathtaking .
How to get there
By car: from the town center : take Via Gramsci straight ahead until you find the right l ‘ entrance to the beach .
From Olbia go along the SS 125 towards the south , and is 23.8 kilometers after which you turn left towards San Teodoro . Routes 850 m , just after the bridge , turn left and continue for 1.3 kilometers to get to the beach parking
